LINK Amherst

January 26, 2017

Amherst County is in the process of becoming the first Certified Entrepreneur Community (CEC) in Virginia. As part of the CEC process, LINK Amherst was created after discussion with business owners, community leaders and resource providers wanting to connect with each other.  Business owners want an all inclusive network that allows them the freedom to share their stories with each other while navigating business growth.

The first meeting will be held at the Loose Shoe Brewery on February 8 at 5:30.  Derin Fore, the owner of the Loose Shoe, will tell his story of how he went from fixing loose horse shoes to mixing brews.  Business owners, entrepreneurs are invited to attend.  Food will be provided by the culinary students at Amherst High School. Beer and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
