Victoria Hanson has worked for the EDA since July 2014 and has more than 20 years of diverse experience in economic development, non-profit leadership and management, housing finance and development, commercial real estate, higher education, international business, and communications. As the founding executive director of a non-profit housing organization, she was successful in establishing and growing the new non-profit and successfully raised over $1 million in funding. Other experience includes working for the U.S. Air Force in Germany and the Air Force Special Operations Command. Hanson earned a master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. She lived in Europe for 13 years and traveled to 22 countries. Hanson has 4 children, 4 grandchildren, and volunteers in her church and community.
